To celebrate the 150th anniversary the LOTA project began in 2003, when the Cousi?o family decided to create a world class iconic wine and Lota was born. Deep inky red in colour with purple flashes. On the nose intense aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry and spiced plum with hints of cedar, dark chocolate & licquorice. The palate is full-bodied & velveety smooth with elegant melted tannins creating a well balanced framework for the layers of deep concentrated black fruit and lush blackberry jam, currant, cocoa, vanilla oak and christmas cake spice.
