Today the fine wines of Capichera are exported all over the world and are proud ambassadors of Sardinian wine. A delightfully complex dry white wine made from late harvested Vermentino grapes which are vinified in oak barriques for up to four months. Straw yellow with golden hues. The vivid bouquet echoes orange blossom, lemon peel, dried aromatic herbs, lavender & hawthorn with lingering aromas of wisteria, thyme and citrus blossom honey. On the palate it is refined, smmoth & dry with rounded, honeyed flavours of fresh, bright citrus fruits, herbal notes and hints of orange blossom, honey and brown sugar in the long finish. www.capichera.it 100% Vermentino A fantastic wine to serve with grilled fish, fish stew, vegetable dishes such as leek and parmesan risotto or pasta dishes inclduing sage & ricotta ravioli or those with pesto based sauces.
