Only three families have owned the estate since the 12th century ensuring an unquestionable level of continuity and quality. The unique properties of the Clos de Tart soils produce wines of great strength and elegance. 2004 is a vintage characterised by its forward fruit aromas and flavours. Pale red in colour with high tone redcurrant fruit aromas with with notes of charcoal. The intense fruit of the bouquet is leaner on the palate, the layers of ripe berry fruit are deep, pure, intense with white pepper, leafy notes & spiced nutmeg. Open knit tannins and a well rounded finish.
